Artist's Statement: Before we learned our sister had Alzheimer's, my family noticed that my sister was having difficulties, yet she denied it and insisted everything was fine, "just ducky." Like my sister, I wonder if the ducks in this impressionistic style landscape quilt know the sky is getting cloudy and the water is staring to churn.
