Hand and machine quilted, hand embellished.Artist's Statement:
"Sundowning" is a term used to describe when a person with dementia is particularly restless, confused and insecure in the afternoon and evening. The asymmetrical sunset in this quilt reflects the changes that occur as darkness draws nigh.
I dedicate this quilt to those who work to identify common behavioral patterns of those with dementia and look for ways to ease their suffering.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles
This quilt earned $60 for AAQI.
