Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric with shades of turquoise blue set on a white-on-white print make up this traditional pineapple block.
Artist's Statement: The pineapple has become associated with the notion of hospitality and the idea of a warm welcome. This block is one of a series, which welcomes the viewer with the feeling of beauty found in the waters surrounding tropical islands.
