Materials/Techniques: I got a small scrap of the vintage-look printed fabric from a friend. It wasn’t big enough to make a quilt by itself, so I fussy cut some of the gardening scenes and put them together with some hand dyed scrap strips.
Artist's Statement: Of the Three R’s (Recycle, Reuse and Renew) I would say this one best fits “Reuse”. Scraps made into something completely different!
Dedication: As always, to my Dad, who motivates all my work for the AAQI.
