Materials/Techniques: Black background with scrap stars and a 1/4" checked border. All cotton commercial fabrics.
Artist's Statement: First I thought maybe the stars were grouped like flowers in a bouquet, then fireworks seemed to be an option, and finally it was decided that the colors and interlocking blocks were just some sort of a spectacular thing.
