Materials/Techniques: Picture taken by me was printed on white fabric and then micro-quilted. White thread on siding and silver metallic thread around the church window.
Artist's Statement: Our son recently married in the local church. We took pictures to use for a slideshow and didn't realize the reflection of the tree across the steet was reflected in the window.
Dedication: To my mom, Marquerite Johanna Frieda Selma Lange Johnson, born in 1909 and died at age 84 with Alzheimer’s (and diabetes). She was a loving, wonderful mama and I think of her every day.
This quilt is displayed with a hanging ring.
This quilt earned $74.84 for the AAQI.
