Artist's Statement: I am an almost 23-year-old, self-taught art quilter, who has traveled down the wonky road of art quilts trying new techniques along the way. Chiaroscuro Pears was inspired by the Old Masters paintings and still lives as well as the golden metallics used by Gustav Klimt.
