Materials/Techniques: Fresh flowers, PFD fabric, pigment pen.
Artist's Statement: Using a technique called flower pounding, I created the bouquet from live flowers and leaves from a garden. The pigment from the flowers is literally pounded into the PFD fabric. Once I outline the flowers with a pigment pen, they seem to pop out.
