Materials/Techniques: Background is embossed cotton lame'. The largest and smallest flowers and binding are cotton batik, the rest are hand dyed cotton. Pink buttons complete each flower. The purchased sequin/bead butterfly adds sparkle.
Artist's Statement: My wish is that these cheerful flowers and butterflies will brighten the day of the people who see them.
Dedication: To my husband who recently suffered a heart attack and enjoyed this quilt displayed in his line of vision.
