Artist's Statement: When a loved one looses grasp of themselves and life, we wonder what their internal life is like. Where have they gone? Perhaps it is to a place that we cannot fathom yet.

Dedication: To my paternal grandmother, Mary, who taught me to do many kinds of hand work and love it. Her dementia never went as far as not recognizing us, but memory was fading.
