Materials/Techniques: Bright fabrics with a sheen set off by solid black. The stars are fused and quilted and the diamond borders are Seminole pieced. The central design is appliqued.
Artist's Statement: When I started this, it never occurred to me that I would be able to make a 20 point Dresden Plate type block, but I drafted an 18 degree wedge and it worked the first time. The fabric used is one I have been hoarding and using carefully, but some day it will be gone.
