Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced and machine quilted. Three-quarter inch nine patches are coupled with red square center blocks. The pieced border picks up the yellowish background fabric with deeper yellow squares.
Artist's Statement: The red fabric patterned with white and the outer border with the yellow made us think of a fire with ashes and bright flames. Therefore the name Firelight.
