Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton—machine appliqué and two beads for the eyes.

Artist's Statement: l love cats and quilting. This quilt has both. I know there is a large fellowship of cat lovers out there and I am hoping one of them will appreciate my “White Tie” kitty. He was designed by Nancy Brown who used her own cat, “Tooey,” as a model. My own kitties are named George, Gracie, and Krissy. Krissy recently passed on. She was 19 years old. She lived with us longer than our children did.
