Materials/Techniques: bleached and commercial fabrics, beads, foil, gold cording, raw edge applique, fusing, beading, machine quilting.
Artist's Statement: In the 1960's, there was no talk of Alzheimer's or even dementia. I was simply told that with aging people just didn't remember. Knowing what I know now, I'm not so sure about my grandmother. A deeply religious woman, in our last conversation she asked me, "Will there be angels?"
