Materials/Techniques: Machine appliquéd and quilted.
Artist's Statement: I loved these flecked flowers and just had to use them to make a happy quilt. I used a silk tie to make the leaves and stems. I’m submitting this piece as part of the “Liberated Quilter’s” on-line “Liberated Challenge”.

Dedication: To Doris Woolf who gave me the tie (you see in this quilt) from her husband, Gerry, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s.
