Artist's Statement: To experience Alzheimer’s disease is to experience loss: lost keys, lost memories and lost lives. The missing corner motif in this Hawaiian style quilt represents those losses.

Dedication: Okay, I know how to spell. To explain, Jinger and Jazzmine were two of my sister’s calico cats. Ginger and Jasmine also happen to be among my favorite Hawaiian flowers. The cat’s names gave me the inspiration for the design.
This quilt is dedicated to all those who love cats and Hawaii.
