Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced and quilted with 100% cotton fabrics. There is some decorative stitching in some of the "coins".
Artist's Statement: I chose to use butterflies in the quilt because my husband’s grandmother liked butterflies. I wanted to have a color progression from light, representing perfect memories to the darker where they become obscured and eventually in total darkness.
Dedication: In honor of my husband’s grandmother Doris.
