Materials/Techniques: Three color quilt, in red, white and blue. Pieced except for the eagle which is raw edge appliqué. Quilted with five pointed stars of various sizes.
Artist's Statement: The strip pieced star has been around for a long time, and so has the eagle design for that matter. Putting them together inside a red, white and blue border, gives this quilt a patriotic theme.
