Materials/Techniques: Vintage Sun Bonnet Sue Quilt Block, Vintage lace, beads, hand and machine quilting.
Artist's Statement: Sun Bonnet—Blue Bonnet Sue was recycled from an old quilt block I purchased at a tag sale in Eastern Missouri . The Sue block is an example of excellent workmanship from the original maker. I embellished the block with vintage lace and beads. Wonderful example of a great quilt pattern from the past.
