Materials/Techniques: Pieced quilt using cotton material leftover from other projects. Hand quilted, buttons.

Artist's Statement: : A wonderful memory for many adults is playing with mom's buttons. I would play for hours: sorting, counting, separating shapes. Such fun!

Dedication: to my mother who died at the age of 93. She couldn't tell me who I was, but her eyes showed that I was someone she loved.
