Materials/Techniques: Replicated counted cross stitched fabric, commercial rayon fabric, partially metallic yarn, embellishment and machine quilted.
Artist's Statement: When I saw the center of the quilt on a pile of junk in a recycling depot, I thought of my daughters giving time outs to their children. How helpful it might be to have a mini quilt you can pull off the wall which helps establish the seriousness of an action. When the time out is over, the quilt goes back on the wall.
