Materials/Techniques: The background is a wonderful piece of hand dyed silk from QuiltersStitchTogether.com. The picture cannot show the depth of the color and the soft shimmer of this fabulous fabric. Trees and footprints are fused black hand dye, also from QST. Binding is a fused commercial batik.
Artist's Statement: I was browsing through some Dover royalty-free images and noticed one of a stylized tree line scene much like this one and the idea was born.
