Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric; cut out butterfly two different sizes and fused on background, embellished with iridescent thread and free motion quilting.
Artist's Statement: The Easter Season is almost here and the butterfly is the symbol of the Resurrection and a New Life.
Dedication: To my father for all the great care he gave to my mother while at home and in the nursing home. He never in 5 years missed feeding her main meal at noon.
