A crazy quilt is beautiful, organized and precise. It makes me think about the brain and how each section plays a part in the whole miracle of thought. Just as this crazy quilt unravels as it progresses to the right, in Alzheimer's the brain is slowly unraveling. The blanks and spaces being created in the brain are represented by the hand dyed green fabric at the far side.Dedication:
To my brother, John who died at 59; my father, Cassio who died at 74 and my mother's sister, who died at 80. Alzheimer's is sometimes not very age discriminating.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles
This quilt earned $40 for the AAQI.
