Artist's Statement: This is another version of the Road to Oklahoma block that I found in Jinny Beyer's Quilters Album of Patchwork Patterns, which is attributed to Alice Brooks in the Detroit Free Press in 1933. I had never seen it before, but the different patch is noticeably difficult in the small size I chose.
