Materials/Techniques: Lengthwise split diamonds sewn into wedges and made into a sunburst-like arrangement. The main fabric is a batik. The circle is raw edge appliquéd.
Artist's Statement: Another attempt at a star, but one that ended up as a circular sunburst. And while it was a bust as a star, it turned out maybe better than the star would have.
