Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, one border print piece and marbled colored fabrics.
Artist's Statement: This block has several names besides Mexican Star, also Mexican Cross and Mexican Rose and the descriptive name, Star and Cross. The border print had colors that I associated with Mexico, so this was what I did with them.
