Artist's Statement: "UP UP UP" was made for the Crystal Coast Quilt Guild Quilt Show Challenge, May 2009 when we also hosted the Alzheimer's Exhibit. I won 2nd place using a photo of mine from the annual balloon races in St. Louis to represent a journey: "Life is a journey of constant ups and downs. Embrace the journey no matter where it takes you."

This quilt is displayed with a traditional sleeve.
This quilt earned $50 for the AAQI.
