Materials/Techniques: Homemade fabric paper, commercial cotton fabrics and batting, vintage rick rack, variegated cotton thread and acrylic paints.
Artist's Statement: To my sister-in-law, Cara, who I pray will never have the disease that is currently taking her father (my father-in-law) away from her.

Dedication: I want to do whatever I can to help, so whenever an opportunity or idea comes up for a small quilt I decide if it will be for the AAQI or not. In this case, I'm taking a class making fabric paper and I really liked three of my finished pieces, so I want to use them in a quilt. This is the first piece used in a quilt.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles.
This quilt earned $40 for the AAQI.
