Materials/Techniques: Cottons & blends; foundation-paper piecing; traditional piecing.

Artist's Statement: I tweaked the traditional Mariner's Compass block, giving it straight lines so that I could paper-piece the center. My husband is very fond of the colors I used so I think I'll have to make him a quilt just like it (or maybe a little larger).
