Materials/Techniques: The patches are 1/2" blocks cut from a number of fabrics.
Artist's Statement: A number of years ago I made my daughter a sweatshirt with this design on the front made from 3/4" squares. She still wears it and suggested that I do something similar for an AAQI quilt. With only a few color changes this is it. It reminds me of tiles, hence the name.
