Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric; machine pieced, traditional quilt pattern with quilting phrase free motion quilted in border.
Artist's Statement: The original author of the words "Life is like a patchwork quilt, even if it doesn't have a pattern to it and even if you don't like every piece, when you look at it all together it's a work of art." is unknown to me. I first saw the phrase on a wall hanging that I received as a gift many years ago. I find them to be so true.
