Materials/Techniques: Center was designed by Barb using EQ6 and colored with batik fabrics. The colored block was printed onto treated fabric with an inkjet printer. Cotton. Machine quilted. Piping.

Artist's Statement: I cherish the friendships I’ve formed through my quilting bees and guild associations. I created this design to be used as a banner for the Prairie Star Quilters Guild of St. Charles, Illinois. I have yet to make that banner, but this small rendition is a start. Tools of the “trade” and four quilters showing their quilts tell the story. My mother and I used to quilt together, and we were both members of this Prairie Star guild for many years before her death.
