Materials/Techniques: Strip pieced with various colors on black background.
Artist's Statement: One of the meanings for promenade is “a public area set aside as a pedestrian walk.” Of course there are other meanings, but to me this ended up looking like a walkway with trees, or buildings, or even people lining it. If nothing else, I am trying to stretch my imagination.
