Artist's Statement: This quilt is probably one of my favorites out of all the quilts I have made! Since I am only 10 years old it was a great accomplishment for me. It is cool that I finished it! This quilt is dedicated to my Papa, Lyndell Anderson, in the VA Hospital in Cameron, Missouri.

We don't normally feature photographs of quilt artists, but Kelly is special. She is one of the youngest quilters from whom we have ever received a Priority: Alzheimer's Quilt.

We think it is remarkable that someone so young is as talented and generous as she is.

Kelly turned 11 in October.

This quilt earned $100 for the AAQI.
