Artist's Statement: Late fall going into the winter season can be a difficult time for many. There is a slowing down of activity and shorter days, a certain sadness prevails. I imagine this as somewhat similar to the early stages of Alzheimer's, a time when one needs to focus on all the beauty in life even more so.
