Artist's Statement: In the Alzheimer's Vintage Quilt Auction there was a scrappy quilt made from familiar looking blocks in an unusual setting. It really caught my eye so I made a smaller, non-scrappy version for the Priority: Alzheimer's project. When it was finished I went looking for the name of the blocks. There are many different names for the block made with the values of the HSTs reversed but none that I could find for the block as pieced.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles.
This quilt earned $84.92 for the AAQI.
