Materials/Techniques: Fabric, threads, Neocolor II Watersoluble Wax Pastels. This is an original painting onto cotton fabric, and thread painted with variegated threads. The background was stipple quilted with pearlescent thread and the grid in the center of the heart was sewn with gold metallic thread. The quilt is embellished with beads and silk ribbon roses.

Artist's Statement: Our hearts are graced with beautiful memories of our lives with our loved ones. Sadly some of our loves ones will lose these memories. We hold them in our hearts. We miss them, and we miss them remembering . . . My Heart is filled with visions of ocean breezes, fragrant plumerias, laughing children, sparkling double rainbows and memories of you.
