Materials/Techniques: Scherenschnitte in fabric, calligraphy in ink and machine quilted.
Artist's Statement: I always wanted to combine my 3 loves, paper cutting, calligraphy and quilting and here is my first attempt. I would hope my 4 little quilts will go to the same person who will hang them together.
Dedication: My quilt honors my friend, Bettye, who at 73, plows her own field, tends the farm on Martin Hill and has a strong influence in my spiritual life.
This quilt has a plain back.
