Designer: Original watercolor of Semper August tulip is from "The Great Tulip Book", published c. 1640 Materials/Techniques: Fabric paint on cotton fabric. Paper pieced borders. Design is pebble quilted with cotton and clear polyester thread, and borders are SID quilted.
Artist's Statement: I wanted to play with different border designs, and loved the tulip watercolor.
