Materials/Techniques: Hand-dyed fabric colored with pastel dye sticks and then shrunk using Texture Magic fabric.
Artist's Statement: My father always did the yard work, and was quite particular about it. One of the things he did well was tend to the daffodils – dividing them each year so that there were eventually hundreds and hundreds blooming each spring. Every time I see daffodils, I remember him.
