Materials/Techniques: Borderie Perse tulips and butterflies, all hand appliqué and hand quilting.
Artist's Statement: I found this blue tulip fabric on a short shop hop a few months ago and saw a demo on Borderie Perse at a quilt group. It was a perfect way to combine the two, but blue tulips? I’d like some in my garden.
