1930’s Reproduction Cotton creates a patchwork Scottie appliqué.Artist's Statement:
Scotties were the rage in the 1930’s and 40’s because of President Franklin Roosevelt’s dog Fala. To remember Fala and all the other “White House Animals” who made life a little easier for their famous masters I patterned this little Scottie from reproduction fabrics of the time.
To Mom, who was a great fan of FDR.
