Materials/Techniques: 1930’s Reproduction Cotton creates a patchwork Scottie appliqué.
Artist's Statement: Scotties were the rage in the 1930’s and 40’s because of President Franklin Roosevelt’s dog Fala. To remember Fala and all the other “White House Animals” who made life a little easier for their famous masters I patterned this little Scottie from reproduction fabrics of the time.
