Materials/Techniques: Beaded motif from an old dress (rayon), silk fabrics including Kimono silk; machine pieced, hand embroidery, new and vintage button embellishment. This piece is not quilted, but tacked to flannel interlining and cotton backing.
Artist's Statement: A friend's gift of the beaded piece was the beginning of this design.
