Materials/Techniques: Three colors of Cotton Moda Marble fabrics pieced without foundations, based on 1/2" patch. The center contains four Old Maid's Puzzle blocks. The outer border, "trapping the spinster," was pieced using Seminole piecing techniques.
Artist's Statement: I enjoy the rich colors used in this little quilt and hope they are favorites of others.
Dedication: To my aunt who never married, and who succumbed to Alzheimer's. But before her illness, she was rarely puzzled, nor do I think she ever felt trapped.
