While I was making this, some of young adults in my family asked me what it meant. I said it meant times were hard and this was the way we used to recycle. You didn't give it away and buy new, you used it as long as possible and made do with what was available, saved a lot more money. They walked away unsure that they understood; it seemed to be a foreign concept to them.Dedication:
