Artist's Statement: This small quilt is dedicated to Grandma's Jerry and Nelson. Grandma Nelson passed away at an early age. Her favorite day was Christmas. Grandma Jerry is a ripe old age, but her short-term memory has been taken by Alzheimer's. She no longer knows when Christmas is occurring. This quilt is tribute to Christmas's past when both Grandma's would eagerly prepare their wreaths to hang for the festive season.
