Materials/Techniques: Donated Rust-Tex (rust dyed) fabric, commercial cottons, yarn and bead embellishments, and machine free-motion quilting.
Artist's Statement: The Rust-Tex fabric (received from Lois Jarvis as an encouragement to participate in the 2008 Stay at Home Challenge), brought to mind a night sky; the star beads I found when bead shopping with my niece are perfect streaking across that sky, like memories that appear and disappear of their own volition.
