Materials/Techniques: Rusted fabric, woven mat material, cottons, multiple threads; raw edge appliqué.
Artist's Statement: I made this quilt in response to a challenge to those of us not attending IQF in Houston. I solicited rusted fabric and developed the design around the small piece I received. I used all but a scrap in the quilt. I feel that the quilt has a Southwest feel to it.
