Artist's Statement: Fireweed plays a major role in Alaska's wildflower drama. These stylized images are overlaid on a scene of Alaska's rugged landscape; photo taken by my husband--(meadow and foothills are covered with wildflowers). This was a part of a Wildflower challenge issued by our guild.
Dedication: To a friend who can no longer make beautiful quilts and clothes.
